What is happening to PEXX Visa cards?
PEXX has discontinued all Visa card programs, including virtual Visa cards and physical Visa cards, effective 11 January at 3:00 PM (UTC+8).
After this time, Visa cards will no longer be usable for transactions.
When will my Visa card stop working?
Your Visa card will stop working on 13 January at 5:00 PM (UTC+8).
Any attempted transactions after this time will be declined.
Which Visa cards are affected?
This applies to:
Virtual Visa cards
Physical Visa cards
All existing active Visa cards will be discontinued.
Will I still be able to see my past Visa transactions?
All previous Visa card transactions will remain accessible in the PEXX app for your records, even after the card is discontinued.
What happens to pending or completed Visa transactions?
Completed transactions will continue to be settled as usual
Refunds and reversals will still be processed and credited back to your card balance
No action is required from you.
What should I use for payments after my Visa card is discontinued?
Users should transition to the PEXX Mastercard for:
Everyday payments
Online purchases
Recurring subscriptions
Please update your payment details with merchants before the Visa discontinuation date to avoid service interruptions.
Will I receive a replacement Visa card?
PEXX will not issue replacement Visa cards, including physical cards, to users who previously had an active card.
Will I receive a refund for my physical Visa card?
Please contact the PEXX support team for more details.
Is PEXX launching a new card program?
A new card program is already in development, and more details will be shared once it is ready.
Do I need to take any action right now?
We recommend that you:
Switch your payments and subscriptions to your PEXX Mastercard
Update your card details with any merchants that have your card on file
