Why was my card transaction rejected?

If your card transaction didn't go through, don't worry — most rejections have a quick fix.

Check these first

  1. Insufficient balance. Make sure your PEXX wallet has enough funds to cover the transaction plus any fees. Add funds and try again.

  2. Card frozen or inactive. Check the Card status in the Cards section to confirm your card is active and unfrozen.

  3. Merchant or country restriction. Some merchants (e.g., high-risk categories) or countries may not be supported.

  4. Incorrect card details. Double-check the card number, expiry, and CVV entered at checkout.

If the issue persists

  1. Check your transaction status in the Cards section

  2. Note the exact time, amount, and merchant of the failed transaction.

  3. Contact support via the Help button in the app. Include a screenshot of the transaction details.
